Job Details: Shift Hours: Wed, Thurs, Fri & Every Other Sat 6pm-6am Starting Pay: $20.40/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium Functions

o To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture

o Perform various positions as required/assigned

Description

This position is responsible for entry level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position is accountable for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic in the receiving yard. Maintains log of product loads and reports trailer problems to supervisor and the truck shop.

Must have legible handwriting and computer experience preferred. Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. This position will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid or dusty conditions. This position will require walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application. Prefer 3 months of operator experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license (Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed)
NO DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months At least 18 years of age The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
