About the Team: The Tik Tok Shop team's mission is to create a world class e-commerce experience that helps Tik Tok users find and discover amazing new products and goods. We're looking for people interested in learning about content design at a leading tech company. You'll learn about Tik Tok Shop users, how to write in our voice and tone, and how to collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to build experiences our customers love.

Responsibilities:

• Craft, proofread, and edit concise, conversational product UI content for Tik Tok Shop.
• Participate in design critiques to drive consistency and improve content quality across Tik Tok Shop.
• Collaborate with design, product, research, and marketing teams in a fast-paced work environment.
• Upload content to Tik Tok's content management system.
• Collaborate with content designers on initiatives to improve processes and content quality.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Strong writing skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Self-starter who can manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in UX writing, copywriting, or journalism.
• Experience in e-commerce and/or social media.

**Job InformationFor Pay Transparency Compensation Description (annually)**The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83431 - $122444 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
