About the Team

Our Search Team is responsible for Tik Tok search LLM application algorithms, covering multiple scenarios including AI Search, and Tik Tok AI Bot. We generate search question-answer cards to provide a better search experience and develop Tik Tok's official AI assistant, applying LLM Chat Bot capabilities to help users better utilize Tik Tok. By closely integrating with business scenarios, we connect people, information, and services, driving Tik Tok's business growth.

Application Information

Responsibilities

• Build large-scale high-quality data, train and optimize machine learning models for search, integrate state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) into traditional video search systems, and reduce costs and latency through self-developed models and inference optimization.
• Utilize LLMs to understand users' complex queries, support multi-round conversations, conduct semantic analysis on queries and documents, and provide users with accurate and objective search results.
• Establish an AI search infrastructure, optimize the retrieval and ranking algorithms in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), be responsible for the training and optimization of the large language models used for answer generation, and enhance the richness of search results and structured presentation.
• Collaborate closely with team members to transform research findings into practical applications and drive the innovation and upgrade of products.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in the field of computer science or a related technical discipline
• Proficient coding skills and strong algorithm & data structure using C++/Python/Java

Preferred Qualifications

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Have a solid foundation in algorithms related to LLMs, including but not limited to comprehensive learning and practical experience in areas such as single-modal/multi-modal LLM training, deployment, and knowledge
