Team Introduction

Partnerships are a critical means of scaling interactions between Tik Tok users and businesses across the globe. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape and deploy internal and external programs and solutions designed to help businesses find success on Tik Tok. The team's culture mirrors that of a small start-up; a team of entrepreneurs and builders with an eye for what's next. You will work directly with our internal cross-functional partners, as well as 3rd-party companies in verticals. This role requires a combination of strong strategic thinking and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the point-of-contact to own all budget processes for the Product Partnerships team, working together with Finance to drive alignment and refine SOPs to enable seamless operations for the Product Partnerships team
  • Submit and track the budgets across all partners to ensure compliance with internal budget guidelines, along with adherence to resource allocation split
  • Collaborate with business development teams to ensure operational feasibility of new partner onboardings
  • Manage the lead lifecycle management, ensuring that all partner leads are accurately captured within the system and are effectively tracked
  • Track progress and outcomes of global partnerships programs across multiple verticals such as Messaging and Commerce

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Partnership Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations within the technology, SaaS, or digital advertising sectors
  • Direct experience tracking operational expenditure and vendor reconciliation. You understand how to justify spending to Finance and Procurement teams
  • Experience in analyzing large volumes of data to identify potential risks or bottlenecks to the business, and to ensure accurate allocation of resources to partners
  • Strong project management, communication skills with a track record of driving programs that require internal and external coordination across multiple teams
  • Proficient in English to communicate with key internal stakeholders and external partners
  • A high level of Chinese language proficiency is required, as the role involves complex communication with partners and clients in Mandarin-speaking markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Able to work in ambiguity during early stages of partnerships, being able to set up foundations for operational excellence in the future
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering high-stakes programs to an organization, showcasing operational rigour
