Responsibilities

Team Introduction
Tik Tok's Product Solutions & Operations (PSO) team aims to drive ad product growth by leading local product strategy and go-to-market plans, as well as reflecting key market insights and product feedback to global product teams to improve Tik Tok's suite of ad products. A truly collaborative team, PSO works closely with Marketing Science, Solutions Engineering, Global Business Marketing and many more teams. Our team is agile and curious, and the place to be for problem-solvers and strategic thinkers who are not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Tik Tok seeks a product marketing professional with a background in digital media to lead go-to-market for brand solutions in Southeast Asia. Sitting as part of the SEA Product Marketing team in the Product Solutions & Operations organisation, the role involves close collaboration with both in-market sales and global product teams in a high growth environment. Ability to self-motivate, prioritise projects and influence cross functional partners are key skills. The ideal candidate should have experience working with digital advertising products in a product marketing capacity and also be familiar with brand marketing. This is a full-time position based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product growth and adoption for specific Tik Tok ad products and/or measurement products in Southeast Asia
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to develop best practices through the lens of brand marketers to drive business outcomes
  • Partner with Sales leadership, Business Marketing, Global & Regional product marketing teams to set long-term objectives and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Plan and deliver product training to sales teams and develop local product marketing collaterals
  • Act as the voice of the market to the product team; analyze, evaluate and synthesise market opportunities, in-market feedback and customer problems to influence product strategy and roadmaps

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above with 5 years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, digital advertising or relevant experience with a strong focus on brand marketing campaigns

  • Track record of influencing cross-functional teams- Ability to set priorities, problem solve, multi-task and work independently- Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- A commercial and data-driven mindset with experience conducting market research and analysis, building business cases to influence product management decisions- Fluency in Japanese to effectively communicate with and support our diverse customer base across Japan and Southeast Asia Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in digital marketing business for brand campaigns- Possess a strong knowledge of trends in the industry and strong understanding of client's digital marketing objectives for these industries- Ability and desire to solve complex problems with data and quantitative analytical skills
