About the Role

We are looking for a Sr Director, Product Marketing & Go-To-Market (PMM & GTM) to define how our products and experiences come to market and scale across a complex, multi-business portfolio. In this role, you will lead the integrated product marketing and go-to-market strategy across our full ecosystem of Lending, Banking, and App Engagement products, spanning B2C, B2B, and B2B2C businesses, and will build and lead a team of Product Marketing and GTM strategists. You will own the strategic foundation and executional rigor behind positioning, launch, and activation—partnering with GMs and business leaders to drive measurable growth outcomes across acquisition, revenue, engagement, and multi-product adoption KPIs.

Serving as a general-manager–caliber partner, this role works closely with business GMs, Product, Growth, and Marketing leaders to translate business opportunities into marketing strategy and execution. Product Marketing & GTM serves as the voice of the customer and connective tissue between insight, product strategy, and cross-functional delivery, ensuring Lending Club’s portfolio delivers sustained, enterprise-wide growth.

What You'll Do

Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Define and lead how Lending Club’s products and experiences come to market, aligning positioning, messaging, and activation across products, channels, and customer segments
  • Set annual GTM strategies and quarterly execution roadmaps, aligned to shared acquisition, revenue, engagement, and multi-product adoption KPIs
  • Partner closely with GMs and business leaders to align GTM priorities with business objectives, growth plans, and product roadmaps
  • Establish enterprise standards for GTM excellence, including launch readiness, performance measurement, and post-launch optimization

Customer Insight, Positioning & Portfolio Storytelling

  • Lead the PMM & GTM team in building deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and economics across consumer and partner businesses
  • Own market and competitive intelligence, translating insight into differentiated positioning and value propositions
  • Drive portfolio-level narratives and storytelling that articulate Lending Club’s differentiated value across products and customer segments
  • Champion seamless, cross-product experiences that support adoption, engagement, and long-term value

Cross-Functional Activation & Performance Enablement

  • Direct the PMM & GTM organization to partner with paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing teams to activate GTM strategies across the full marketing mix
  • Collaborate with Marketing Channels, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Creative, and Brand to enable scalable execution and strong measurement
  • Define the analytical and measurement frameworks for PMM & GTM, ensuring insights inform prioritization, targeting, and optimization
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform launch sequencing and cross-functional investment decisions

Team Leadership & Enterprise Impact

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing Product Marketing & GTM organization, setting clear expectations, operating models, and accountability.
  • Coach and develop PMM & GTM leaders, fostering a culture of customer-centricity, ownership, and operational rigor
  • Partner with Product and Innovation teams to support new product development and expansion, refining value propositions and GTM strategy
  • Lead through complexity and change with clarity and confidence, driving alignment across a matrixed organization

About You

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including product marketing, positioning, messaging, and launches in a B2C environment; financial services or consumer lending experience is a plus
  • 8+ years leading product marketing, GTM, or performance-driven marketing teams. Proven ability to drive growth, revenue, and engagement outcomes across complex product portfolios
  • Strong track record of data-driven decision-making tied to business performance and P&L impact
  • Strategic thinker who can translate strategy into clear, prioritized execution across multiple products and stakeholders
  • Compelling storyteller with strong executive presence and experience influencing senior leadership
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; or equivalent work experience
