Job Description
Pay: $22.36/hr
Shift: 2nd shift (Friday Afternoon; 3 pm - 11:15 pm)

- Shift: 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3 pm- 11 pm)

A day in the Life:
- Operating cartridge equipment to pleat, trim, cut seal membrane media, sub assemble, cap, final assembly, testing, drying and packaging of cartridges.
- Performing various production operations including the operating of multiple machines, where it can be done safely, and filling in on positions throughout manufacturing operations as required.
- Observing all company and OSHA safety rules and practices. Keeping the work area clean and orderly.
- Assisting in change over and setup on production line and equipment.
- Assisting other department members as needed to ensure safety and maximize output. Assisting in the training of other employees as necessary.
- Completing quality checks and, if a discrepancy is found, working with appropriate team members to solve the problem.
- Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).
Experience
- One (1) year or more of plant, manufacturing, and/or warehouse experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to work 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3 pm - 11 pm)
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
- Post-high school education
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $17.71–$26.56.
