DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist for LCMS to provide technical support and training for our analytical and scientific solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver demonstrations, applications support, and training that enables research and innovation. You'll serve as a scientific advisor, helping customers optimize their workflows and maximize the value of their investments while contributing to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Working across multiple technology platforms, you'll provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical expertise, conduct product demonstrations, develop new applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and build relationships with customers. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, and product management to ensure customer success and drive business growth through technical excellence.

Provide Technical Pre-sales and post-sales Support to Customers on Mass Spectrometry (QQQ and HR MS), with respect to method development & technical guidance

Responsible for method development activities for all LCMS Instruments

Being, integral part of CoE lab, involves in every day-to-day lab activities and Lab upkeep.

Conducts training\Demo for chromatographic products within India, involves in workshop/customer visit/seminars at CoE lab & at Customer site.

Involves in new product development evaluations, if required.

Online Tech support & be an integral part of CMD product complaints handling & trouble shootings.

Responsible to generate technically reviewed Application notes & contributes to upload data/reports to the global Tech tools (Apps Lab).

Gathers competitive information and keeps a close eye on technology trends and scientific literature & cascades to the sales force team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- M.Sc in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or related fields with 7 -10 years of experience in relevant industry experience or Ph.D in Chemistry/life Science or related discipline.
- Should have a clear understanding of Pharma \Bio Pharma workflows
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong presentation and training capabilities for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a results-oriented environment
- Experience in project management and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel up to 50-75%
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant scientific software
- Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external customers
- Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial
