DESCRIPTION:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's marketing team and contribute to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Marketing Manager, you'll develop and execute marketing strategies across multiple channels to build brand awareness, generate leads, and support revenue growth. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our scientific and healthcare customers while showcasing our portfolio of products and solutions.

Lead strategic marketing initiatives from conception to execution, working closely with product management, sales, digital marketing, and regional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Use data analytics and market insights to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific's values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.

Based in our dynamic India and South Asia division, you will be part of a skilled team dedicated to advancing the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to drive impactful marketing strategies in a growing market.

A day in the Life:

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and campaign plans aligned with business goals in the Pharma/Biopharma segment.
  • Lead new product introductions — including market positioning, launch planning, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Drive demand generation through integrated marketing programs, digital campaigns, events, and KOL engagement.
  • Gather market and customer insights to identify growth opportunities, refine messaging, and guide portfolio priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and regional/global marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Manage marketing budgets, track ROI, and report key performance metrics to leadership.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years in a marketing role, preferably within the pharma/biopharma sector
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Strong background in market analysis and competitive intelligence

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Deep understanding of pharma/biopharma industry dynamics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work strictly within deadlines and manage multiple projects

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Primarily office-based with occasional travel required to client sites and industry events. Travel >30%
