Position Summary:

As a Training Specialist within the Assembly Accelerator Team, you will play a key role in optimizing onboarding, upskilling, and cross-training initiatives for our manufacturing and assembly workforce. You will support continuous improvement by designing and delivering hands-on, process-based training that accelerates employee readiness and operational excellence. This is a highly collaborative role working across engineering, production, quality, and training functions to build a scalable and efficient workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Development & Design:

· Update technical training programs for assembly processes, work instructions, and tooling.

· Create engaging, practical learning content tailored to adult learners in a manufacturing/assembly environment.

· Standardize training content across production lines and facilities in collaboration with SMEs and process engineers.

· focus on clean working / employee.

Training Delivery & Facilitation:

· Deliver in-person, on-the-floor, and classroom-based training for new hires and existing team members.

· Conduct hands-on training and certifications for key assembly procedures and competencies.

· Facilitate cross-training initiatives to increase workforce flexibility.

· Performance & Quality Support

· Monitor trainee performance and readiness during and after onboarding.

· Collect feedback and training metrics to improve training effectiveness and reduce ramp-up time.

· Support quality initiatives by ensuring procedural adherence and reinforcing right-first-time behavior.

Documentation & Systems:

· Maintain accurate training records using the Skill matrix, and be sure that this is up-to-date.

· Ensure all training content is current, version-controlled, and aligned with regulatory and quality requirements.

· Collaborate with document control teams to align training with released documentation.
