What To Expect
Tesla Energy is looking for a highly motivated Demand Generation Intern to support the execution of our marketing plan across the Residential Energy Team in Asia Pacific (APAC).

In this role, you’ll be required to support the broader ANZ team to deliver marketing initiatives that help support awareness, growth and engagement initiatives across residential energy products with end customers and the Certified Installer channel.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the delivery of targeted email campaigns, planning, delivery and support of local events across ANZ whilst providing exceptional and timely marketing support and approvals to our Channel Partners (Certified Installers). You’ll work under the direction of the Demand Generation Managers, where you’ll gain valuable exposure across a variety of marketing tactics including paid media, local area marketing and social and content marketing. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hungry to learn, a fast thinker, and has a bias for action.

  • Daily Work Tasks:
  • Build copy, liaise with creative and analytics teams to execute email campaigns on a weekly basis.
  • Work closely with the sales team to plan quarterly local events, you’ll be responsible for copy development, liaising with internal teams on event management processes and execution including on ground support at events (as required).
  • Assist with the development of cross-sell programs in conjunction with motors counterparts.
  • Provide exceptional and timely marketing support to the Certified Installer network, providing accurate and timely approvals on marketing assets for our partners in line with brand guidelines.
  • Ability to report on campaign success, draw insights and present actions on how to optimise campaigns including developing post campaign reports.
  • Act as a brand custodian, ensuring that marketing materials and tone of voice across owned and channel partners align with our brand guidelines.
  • Support and deliver marketing requests from sales and field teams to enable marketing activities in local areas, including building templates, print materials and toolkits.
  • Be able to build effective relationships with stakeholders across various functions locally and globally, including sales, engineering, design, copyrighters, legal and global marketing functions.


  • What You'll Bring

  • Undergraduate, Bachelor’s degree or tertiary education in relevant field, or evidence of exceptional ability to execute on marketing initiatives.
  • Passion for building impactful copy and campaigns that drive business outcomes.
  • Passion for using data to inform optimisations and naturally curious in understanding consumer behaviour.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to delivering outcomes, communication and managing expectations.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency, creative thinking that helps drive business outcomes. Tesla moves fast, and this role will need too as well.
  • Proficient in MS Office  
  • Comfortable supporting the broader marketing team to reach collective goals and managing multiple priorities.
  • Team player and builder – leads by example
