As a Product designer, you will be joining the team that’s in charge of building the Tenable Exposure Platform. The platform enables companies to measure their cyber exposure and response to modern threats. This team is chartered with creating the next generation of Tenable products while at the same time pioneering unprecedented user experience in the digital security space. Their goal is to reset the UX bar, redefine expectations and bring world-class usability to cybersecurity in a way that ensures our products are easy to learn, use and manage.

At Tenable, our customers are at the center of all our design efforts, and user experience research is one way we observe and listen to our customers to make sure we are designing the best experience for their needs. In this role, you will design visual components and interfaces that will inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Your Opportunity:

  • Design visual interface and contribute to the user experience of every component part of the Tenable One platform.

  • Partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners.

  • Provide strategic insights, conduct independent design research, collect and analyze behavior through a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.

  • Practice and help evolve the team’s design techniques and toolset to work effectively within a rapid product development cadence.

  • As a senior designer, demonstrate leadership and passion in all the above points.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of design experience, with a focus on integrating complex visual design components into industrial products.

  • English Fluency. Native or bilingual fluency in English is required. You must be able to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbal presentations.

  • Experience working across the full product lifecycle, from early generative research – to ship – to in-market UX research.

  • Experience designing research to answer questions about the user experience.

And Ideally:

  • Degree in Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), UX/UI Design, User Research, Human Factors Engineering or a related field.

  • Global Collaboration. Proven experience working closely with international teams across different time zones. You will act as a key point of contact for global stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment on all projects

  • Experience collaborating with qualitative UX researchers.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills

  • Understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods.

  • Ability to prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects.
