Who we are looking for
Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, the Structured Trust and Analytics, Senior Associate, is responsible for the day to day activities for a particular set of investment vehicles. Candidates should have some understanding of Structured Finance Transactions, have a strong client focus, be able to do well under pressure and successfully manage multiple assignments at one time

What you will be responsible for

Liaise with Collateral Managers to strengthen relationships and generate new business leads

Assist in onboarding new deal closings per New Deal Setup Procedures
-
Review analyst workflow
-
Train staff on proper servicing techniques
-
Assist management team with metrics and other administrative items
-
Perform analyst functions as necessary:
Run hypothetical trades per client instruction
-
Execute Excel/Solvas models to calculate CLO Concentration, Coverage, and Collateral Quality Tests

Prepare quarterly waterfall disbursements
-
Advance relationships with clients, investors and internal groups within State Street

Participate in special projects as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics

2+ years of experience working within an investment firm
-
Managing and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel
-
Creating Excel-based models to measure various tests and parameters outlined in legal documents, preferable related to CLOs/Bank Loans
-
Comprehending and interpreting legal documentation such as Indentures and Offering Memorandums
-
Working with credit instruments (senior secured loans and high yield bonds); and communicating with clients.

Systems: Wall Street Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Solvas, Loan Ops Portal, My State Street, Bloomberg, LS Fax, Collaborate
Salary Range:
$52,000 - $94,120 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
