Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a core contributor to our Predictive Orchestration engine. This role goes beyond standard CRUD APIs; you will build and scale a system that deeply understands the "physics" of cloud billing. You will develop models that forecast workload trends and implement the logic for high-stakes buy/sell/exchange recommendations in real-time across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

What You Will Do

• Time-Series & Forecasting: Develop and refine models that process large-scale historical billing data to predict usage trends and anomalies with high precision.

• ML-Driven Implementation: Build the backend intelligence that calculates the optimal mix of Savings Plans vs. RIs. You will implement "break-even" logic and risk-modeling to prevent customer over-commitment.

• Cloud Instrument Integration: Deep-dive into cloud financial instruments (e.g., AWS Convertible RIs, Azure Reservations, GCP CUDs) and translate these complex rules into robust, maintainable code.

• Reliable Orchestration: Develop the "Executioner" service that programmatically interacts with cloud provider APIs to automate the purchase and exchange of commitments.

• Scalable Data Pipelines: Solve data ingestion challenges from AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR) and GCP Big Query billing exports, ensuring high availability and performance under heavy load.

About You

• Experience: 4–6 years of experience developing scalable, distributed backend services (Golang preferred).

• Technical Proficiency: Strong background in building complex distributed systems and a solid understanding of Time-Series Analysis or Machine Learning pipelines.

• Cloud Proficiency: High "Cloud IQ"—you understand regional pricing variances, instance types, and the nuances of at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Execution-Focused: Proven ability to take a feature from a design doc to production, building state machines or workflow engines to manage external resource lifecycles.

• Collaborative Lead: You can take a complex requirement like "Optimize RI exchange logic" and break it down into actionable technical tasks for yourself and the team.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Worked with Fin Ops teams or built internal cost-management tools at scale.

• Deep experience with AWS Billing APIs, Cost Explorer API, or AWS Organizations.
