I got approved for a full time "structural analysis - defense" position at Spirit Aerosystems recently. I got approved about 2 months ago but won't start until the beginning of June after I graduate. I just recently heard about the spirit/boeing buyout, and wondering if I should be concerned?
title explains the context. applied to the structural analysis engineer position last fall for Spirit Aerosystems, had an interview and went through the pre-employment process and got approved for hire back in December (technically for the defense part of it). I am expected to start in June after I graduate with my bachelors. I was initially excited about it and looking forward to working there as they seemed nice.
