Scopely is looking for a Senior Content Producer to join our unannounced cross-platform Strategy/MMO project in Barcelona in a hybrid basis.
At Scopely, we care deeply about inspiring play, every day, both in how we work and in the experiences we create. We are a global team of game makers developing, publishing, and operating some of the most successful mobile-first and cross-platform games in the industry, connecting millions of players worldwide.
We are building an ambitious new Strategy/MMO title and assembling a team of exceptional developers to help shape a long-lasting, content-rich live game. You will partner closely with Design, Narrative, Art, Tech, Product, and Live Ops to ensure that high-quality gameplay content features, events, seasonal drops, and IP-driven beats are delivered on time, at scale, and to the highest quality bar.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Content Producer, you will be responsible for building and scaling the content production pipeline that will power a long-term live service experience. You will own the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of gameplay content delivery. You will operate at both strategic and executional levels—building scalable processes while driving day-to-day delivery across content pods.
Content Production & Delivery
-
Own the roadmap and execution of gameplay content releases (events, features, expansions, narrative beats, progression content, seasonal drops).
-
Partner with Feature Owners and Content Leads to translate creative vision into executable production plans.
-
Drive content from concept through implementation, validation, and live release.
-
Ensure alignment between creative ambition, technical feasibility, and production capacity.
Live Operations & Scalability
-
Collaborate with Product and Live Ops teams to establish sustainable content cadence models.
-
Support planning of recurring events, monetization-driven content, and time-limited experiences.
-
Build scalable pipelines for high-volume content production in a live service environment.
-
Monitor risks related to content throughput, quality, and cross-team dependencies.
Cross-Functional Coordination
-
Embed within one or more multi-disciplinary pods focused on content delivery.
-
Facilitate requirement gathering, dependency mapping, and capacity planning.
-
Drive alignment across Design, Art, Engineering, QA, and external stakeholders.
-
Lead content reviews, milestone tracking, and release readiness validation.
Process & Operational Excellence
-
Own and evolve content production workflows, sprint structures, and release pipelines.
-
Implement clear tracking frameworks using JIRA and Confluence.
-
Maintain accurate visibility on delivery status, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
-
Contribute to studio-wide production improvements and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
-
5+ years of production experience, with significant experience focused on gameplay content or live service environments.
-
Demonstrated experience delivering high-volume content in a live game setting.
-
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and large-scale cross-functional development.
-
Advanced proficiency in JIRA, roadmap planning, and dependency management.
-
Ability to balance creative ambition with executional discipline.
-
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
-
Strong prioritization skills and comfort operating in dynamic, evolving environments.
-
Deep familiarity with how live content impacts player engagement, retention, and monetization.
Bonus Points
-
Experience on large-scale Strategy, MMO, or live service games.
-
Experience building or scaling content pipelines during pre-production or early development.
-
Scrum Master certification or formal Agile training.
-
Experience coordinating with external IP partners or licensors.
-
Passion for live games and long-term player engagement strategies.

[CA] During the initial interview with HR, I was asked my salary expectation and said 60k. After the second round interview with hiring manager, I realize the scope of the position is far greater, more complex and demanding than the role I thought it'd be. Can I change my salary expectation now?
During 1st interview with HR, I said 60k when asked. During 2nd interview with hiring manager, I learned more concrete details about the role beyond the job description. I realized 60k was actually a lowball and 70k is more appropriate for the level of work. Can I ask for a higher salary? And if so, at what time? Would the correct timing be *after* I get an offer letter? Like if the offer letter says 60k, then I can counter with 70k?
