Join us as a Cybersecurity Governance Intern to make an impact!
You will join the Cybersecurity Governance team, where we manage Governance, Risk and Compliance in East Asia and Japan.
About the role As a Cybersecurity Governance Intern at Schneider Electric, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting Schneider Electric’s cybersecurity governance initiatives.
This internship is designed to provide exposure to the critical aspects of cybersecurity governance within Schneider Electric’s global organization, offering a valuable learning experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
What will you do?
Assist in the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls and compliance requirements.
Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Contribute to the enhancement of cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees.
Assist in the review and analysis of cybersecurity governance frameworks and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cybersecurity governance initiatives across the organization.
Contribute to the documentation and reporting of cybersecurity governance activities.
And any other tasks as assigned by the Senior Cybersecurity Officer (East Asia Zone).
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Education: Final year of Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk management, and Compliance.
Knowledge of fundamental Cybersecurity principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Skills/Systems Knowledge: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, presentation and writing skills.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
