Primary responsibility is delivering Building Automation System projects. This position is a field-based position where you may perform any number of roles. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers to deliver any of the following project components: system design/review, software, installation, startup, commissioning, and owner training. What will you do? Implement databases, controls, sequences, programs, and graphics for new construction and retrofit projects. Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for use in commissioning and validation Organize and demonstrate required BAS project sequences to meet commissioning agents' requirements. Commission controls installation and verifies that control sequences meet specifications. Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and as-built drawings What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Recently graduated from an HVAC program or with a two-year technical degree Two-year (2) degree in a related technical field required or related work experience The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances and/or badges as needed. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.) Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. Electrical troubleshooting knowledge Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work in a high-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet the schedules given by the leadership Demonstrate the ability to operate independently and autonomously and take ownership of all tasks.
