Join us as a Production Quality Intern to make an impact!

You will join the CS&Q & Production Team, where you will pro-actively solve problems and champion customer satisfaction!

Location: Tuas, Singapore

The Role:

Production Quality Intern Mission (About the Role) As a Production Quality Intern, you will play an integral role in strengthening our Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting production excellence across all shifts.

Your mission is to help drive simplification, consistency, and reliability in our quality and production processes.

You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including Quality, Production, Method & Engineering, and Maintenance—to analyze current practices, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions.

What will you do?

Enhance and streamline the Quality Management System (QMS): Support the review, updating, and standardization of procedures, work instructions, control plans, and documentation to ensure clarity, compliance, and ease of execution.

Simplify Quality & Production Reporting: Work on designing or improving digital and automated reporting flows, dashboards, and templates to reduce manual work, eliminate waste, and enable faster insights for decision‑making.

Align Processes Across All Shifts: Partner with shift leaders and operators to identify variations in daily practices, map current workflows, and harmonize operations to ensure repeatability, stability, and zero‑defect mindset across all shifts.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis, support problem‑solving workshops (e.g., 8D, A3), and contribute to initiatives that reduce defects, improve FPY, and strengthen process control.

Practice Deployment:

Learn from global references and contribute to piloting new quality and production best practices within the plant.

What qualifications will make you successful?

Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering will set you up for success, providing a solid foundation in technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving mindset.

Good communication and teamwork skills to interact across departments and shifts.

Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
