What will you do: We are seeking a skilled Certification Engineer to work with our Power Products and ASCO Line of Business offers.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the certification of our innovative solutions and maintaining certification of our existing offerings.

Responsibilities: Certification Planning and Execution: Lead project teams through planning and execution of certification efforts, collaborating with regulatory bodies and industry organizations.

Ensure compliance with relevant certifications and standards for power products ATS solutions.

Define and implement processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, design engineers, and architects to understand system requirements and design effective certification approaches to meet project timelines.

Work with development teams and certification body representatives to address findings and ensure certification and ongoing compliance.

Automatic Transfer Switch Expertise: Apply specialized knowledge in ATS technologies to understand end-to-end system functionality, security, and performance.

Keep abreast of industry trends and evolving certification requirements.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality practices to ensure that solutions meet the highest Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation and certification processes Documentation and Reporting: Update product files and reports and establish test programs to support certification projects to accommodate product changes and innovations.

Update product manuals and labels to maintain product certification and address product changes as they occur.

Maintain detailed documentation to support certification audits and inquiries.

Regulatory Compliance: Interpret and apply relevant standards to new and existing products, ensuring feasibility and compliance.

Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates relevant to Transfer Switches, Switchboards, and other commercial building products.

General: Ensure proactive compliance with emerging standards and regulations.

Familiarity with various certification bodies (UL, CSA, IEC, RETIE, CCC, NFPA) Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead design teams through certification effectively.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external certification bodies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
