About the Role Love logistics, solving operational problems, and making things run smoother?

As a Warehouse Operations Intern, you’ll work closely as a buddy to the Warehouse Supervisor, gaining full mastery of end-to-end warehouse operations.

You’ll be handson in driving lean processes, efficiency improvements, and automation adoption initiatives, while ensuring day-to-day operations run with precision.

This role offers unique exposure to distribution center operations, SAP/WM systems, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement projects within a dynamic hub environment.

What will you do?

You’ll support and enhance daily warehouse operations, including: Operational Excellence Work side-by-side with the Warehouse Supervisor to understand, manage, and improve end-to-end warehouse processes.

Drive lean initiatives, 5S, cycle-time reduction, and continuous improvement activities.

Support automation adoption and digital transformation projects on the shopfloor.

Order & Capacity Management Coordinate and prioritize orders to meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.

Plan warehouse capacity and resources to ensure operational readiness.

Act as an escalation point for urgent or critical customer orders.

Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with internal teams—including planning, transport, customer service, and quality—to resolve operational issues.

Liaise with customer representatives/agents for urgent tasks and time-sensitive requests.

System & Process Support Troubleshoot SAP/WM issues and work with the digital team to resolve system gaps.

Ensure warehouse documentation, transactions (e.g., FIFO, MIGO), and processes meet accuracy and compliance standards.

Continuous Improvement Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across operations.

Provide feedback to IPL (Industrial Performance & Lean) and support process improvement project implementation.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Qualifications &:

Experience: Diploma or higher in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (or related field).

Solid understanding of warehouse operations and terminology (e.g., FIFO, MIGO).

Familiar with inventory management and transportation workflows.

Computer literate; SAP & Warehouse Management (WM) experience is a plus.

Good communication skills in English.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
