The Role: We are in search of a Tender Engineer (BMS/EPMS) who will drives qualified opportunities through the bidding process—transforming customer requirements into competitive, compliant proposals. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing tender activities for Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) projects, ensuring competitive, compliant, and profitable bids aligned with company standards and governance. What will you do? Lead Tendering Process: Drive the preparation of competitive bids, ensure compliance with internal governance (CPP/BFO) and customer requirements. Analyse RFQs and Specifications: Review Requests for Quotation (RFQs), BOQs, and technical specifications to develop accurate proposals. Strategic Decision Making: Make informed decision on issues impacting tender outcomes, including Risks and Opportunity Analysis Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, SMEs, SRMs, and global teams to consolidate technical and commercial inputs. Governance & Compliance: Participate in review calls (S1/SOC/RSOC/P0) and secure approvals as per Chart of Approval before submission. Deliver Winning Bids: Ensure proposals have clear scope, accurate technical and commercial commitments, and meet timelines and budgets for profitability. Adaptability: Quickly respond to changes in sales stages and customer requirements, maintaining agility in dynamic tender environments. Tools & Tracking: Maintain tender tracking tools and update internal/external teams on progress. Communication: Excellent presentation and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and tight schedules. What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Engineering Min 2–3 years of experience in tendering process and project management (mandatory) Basic Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (mandatory). Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical tender drawings. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
