  • Maintain optimal warehouse layout, storage utilization, and proper identification of material locations.
  • Ensure material availability to support production schedules and project timelines.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Review order backlog, WIP status, and coordinate with production to meet committed delivery dates.
  • Oversee creation of QSKUs, job codes, and all compliance-related documentation required for order and logistics processes.
  • Own outbound logistics:
  • Transport planning
  • Dimensional and packing list accuracy
  • Export/import documentation
  • Incoterms alignment
  • Tracking and milestone reporting
  • Optimize logistics cost by reviewing transport quotes and ensuring efficient shipping methods.
  • Provide delivery status updates to MDC Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Safety, Compliance & Quality
  • Lead safety programs, toolbox talks, LOTO adherence, and regular warehouse safety audits.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal quality procedures, and regulatory requirements including import/export laws.
  • Investigate and resolve safety incidents, near misses, material discrepancies, and logistics deviations.
  • Maintain complete traceability for audits (internal/external).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with procurement, planning, manufacturing, quality, offer management, finance, and project management teams.
  • Act as a key stakeholder during opportunity pipeline (P1) reviews to validate logistics and warehouse feasibility.
  • Support engineering and quality teams with material verification and NCR processes.
  • Serve as the escalation point for delivery issues and cross-site coordination with HUBs and front office teams.
  • Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
  • Drive Lean, 5S, and SPS initiatives across warehouse functions.
  • Implement process automation and digitization opportunities in material flow, order booking, transport tracking, and documentation management.
  • Improve material flow efficiency and reduce lead time through layout optimization and standard work practices.
  • Monitor KPIs:
  • On-time delivery (OTD)
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Warehouse productivity
  • Logistics cost performance
  • Safety compliance metrics
