Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.
Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst will define, build, and operationalize Saronic’s supply chain compliance infrastructure as the company scales. This role is responsible for ensuring that supplier and supply chain activities meet applicable regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements, while building systems and processes that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with how the business operates.
You will work at the intersection of Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and Legal to translate complex regulatory and contractual requirements into practical, executable processes and systems. Beyond implementation, this role requires proactively anticipating future compliance needs and designing systems ahead of formal requirements, ensuring Saronic is prepared for future customers, contracts, and scale without overbuilding or introducing unnecessary complexity.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of building from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and making pragmatic decisions that balance rigor with speed. You will play a key role in shaping how Saronic approaches compliance, establishing a high-caliber foundation that enables growth without defaulting to legacy or overly bureaucratic models.
Responsibilities
-
Define and execute the roadmap for supply chain compliance systems, processes, and governance
-
Interpret and anticipate regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, cybersecurity, traceability) and translate them into actionable internal processes
-
Proactively identify future compliance needs based on industry trends, customer expectations, and scaling plans, and design systems and processes ahead of formal contractual obligations
-
Build and implement scalable compliance frameworks across supplier onboarding, qualification, and ongoing management
-
Partner closely with Legal to align on regulatory requirements, risk posture, and implementation strategy
-
Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain teams to embed compliance into day-to-day workflows and systems
-
Design and implement processes for supplier compliance verification, documentation, and audit readiness
-
Support development of systems/tools (internal or off-the-shelf) to manage compliance data, documentation, and traceability
-
Establish and track key compliance metrics, reporting, and escalation mechanisms
-
Ensure compliance systems are right-sized, balancing regulatory rigor with operational efficiency and avoiding unnecessary complexity
-
Anticipate long-term scaling needs and evolve compliance infrastructure to support increasing supplier and operational complexity
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
-
5+ years of experience in supply chain, compliance, supplier quality, or related roles
-
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to defense/manufacturing (e.g., ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS)
-
Experience building or implementing compliance processes, systems, or programs
-
Demonstrated ability to design forward-looking systems or processes in the absence of fully defined requirements
-
Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, operational workflows
-
Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams
-
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset
-
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, scaling environments with evolving requirements

Danny imrovising with saron samples during the Right in Two intro.. electronic, tabla inspired phrasing.
It looks like he's responding to emails! Any drummers out there familiar with this, feel free to chime in. Drummers who play and write melodies to songs, bassists who play guitar solos, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! lol, love this band.
