What you’ll build:

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

• Build and operate next-generation applications on different platforms (SAP Cloud Platform, SAP CRM, SAP ERP, Service Now).

• Write/maintain high quality and robust programming code: JS, SAPUI5, SAP HANA, CDS and so on and fully engage in high build-in quality journey.

• Work on a fast-paced, rapidly growing, high-profile project.

• Devise innovative ideas for solving customer problems and translate these ideas into technical designs.

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, stay curious, and is eager to learn. You enjoy working on meaningful, innovative projects and are motivated by continous development.

EDUCATION

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Coputer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information System, Engineering, or a related field.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required:

• Commitment of3+ days per week for 6 months internship onsite

• Strong understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

• Strong problem solving, analytical and debugging skills

• Good teamwork attitude and communication skills.

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Willingness to continuously learn both new technologies and business processes

Nice to Have:

• Experience or knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools.

As a application engineer, you have some experience or knowledge of Agile Software Engineering practices and Scrum, as well as technologies like JAVASCRIPT, SAP UI5, ABAP, CRM, etc. And you are interested in applying your knowledge and skill to continuously improve SAP’s customer experience.
