SAP HANA Cloud Virtualization group is the leader in virtualization for in-memory high-end computing. The group’s innovative architecture reduces cloud cost by virtualizing storage as RAM.

Our developers are operating at the forefront of hardware virtualization technologies, developing network and storage device virtualization mechanisms coupled with most advanced CPU and memory virtualization technologies. We are looking for experts in x86 and ARM architecture, to focus on virtualization development, kernel development and device drivers.

Advantage: Knowledge in x86 and ARM processors, virtualization, algorithms and optimizations for high concurrency systems, cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement processors, devices, drivers, and memory-virtualization mechanisms.

• Lead projects from the planning phase to a working product.

• Write and debug low-level software–hardware interactions.

• Serve as the go-to person for other virtualization/kernel developers.

• Perform performance analysis and tuning for high-concurrency environments.

• Opportunity to act as a Team Leader role, based on performance and organizational need

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in designing and developing low-level software systems.

• Excellent coding skills in C and Assembly.

• Strong algorithm-design and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of modern CPU architectures (x86/ARM).

Any of the following will be considered as advantage:

• Experience as an Architect or a Team Lead.

• Experience in OS concepts, understanding, and development, especially Linux.

• Experience in high-concurrency software-development environments.

• Knowledge of device drivers.

• Experience in a Kubernetes environment

• B.Sc./Eng. degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, with a GPA of 85 or higher.
