Summary
SAP Business Data Cloud is a technology platform in Data & AI solution area that brings together data and analytics, artificial intelligence & intelligent applications in one, unified environment. SAP Business Data Cloud is one of the highest profiles and fastest growing parts of the SAP portfolio and critical to SAP helping our customers innovate and grow with SAP. In EMEA alone BTP-BDC represents a 1BN Euro business supporting > 8,000 customers. Aside from being the foundation for SAP applications it provides a modern platform of cloud capabilities to enables customers to extend, enhance and innovate above and beyond their existing applications.
The focus of this position is to join the SAP BDC Customer Success Manager (Customer success solution advisor) team and become the trusted advisor to some of our flagship EMEA customers, helping them drive a roadmap for SAP BDC adoption and consumption across their organization.
Responsibilities

You will proactively partner with customers to sustainably increase consumption of SAP BDC & Analytical services, and coordinate activities with the Account Team, by building out a joint outcome-based Adoption plan and drive a mutual understanding of IT-Architecture and Business value.

You understand the big picture, deliver expertise with digital transformation across different lines of business, advise on technical and business architectures.

You are the primary SAP BDC strategic point of contact and will orchestrate success resources across SAP and customers, leveraging assets of the SAP BDC engagement model.

You are the primary point of contact to drive customer transformation journey strategy towards SAP Business Data Cloud

You will analyze your customer’s Vision, Technical needs and execute consumption plans for your assigned customers.

You will instruct and prepare the customer to make the best use of the solution, in alignment with SAP strategy and roadmap.

You will be a voice of the customer to internal SAP stakeholders. You will work with colleagues from a broad variety of groups such as Cloud Success Services life-cycle relevant centers of experts, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management groups, Support, Services, Partners, etc.

BDC -CSP Senior Advisor may also be assigned to fulfill a customer’s premium subscription services.
Role Requirements
You will excel in this role if you:
-
Have 5-6 years of experience working in the IT Industry in Customer facing roles. Your background could be Software Engineering, Solution Advisory & Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Consulting, etc.

Have excellent understanding of one or more areas of the Data & Analytics portfolio
-
SAP Business Data Cloud covering Datasphere , SAP Analytics Cloud, Intelligent applications , BW- BW4HANA , Databricks ML – covering primarily Reporting , Planning and forecasting solutions.

Have a working knowledge of hybrid and cloud-based landscapes and can guide customers on Solution Advisory , Cloud Strategies and Architecture guidance.

Certifications in SAP Business Data cloud solutions – Datasphere , SAP Analytics cloud , BW4HANA – BW , Enterprise architecture are a plus.

Have foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g. Microsoft , Annaplan , Snowflake etc.)

Have professional experience with implementing cloud initiatives.

Have excellent communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with design thinking methodology is a plus.

Communicate proactively and can prioritize efficiently. You have a strong sense of accountability.

Can manage complex organizational dynamics both internally at SAP, as well as externally with customers and partners.

Can continuously learn and adapt to the unique business and cultural practices of each region/country.

Have a strong customer service mindset and customer empathy.

Have a passion for learning new technologies and enjoy problem solving.

Thrive in a dynamic team-based environment and can guide new team members into the role.
