Schedule: Standard hours 7am–4pm, Mon- Fri, with additional extended hours towards the end of each month along with weekends to support customer and operational needs.

Summary

The Logistics Coordinator / Administrative Assistant supports daily operations by coordinating logistics activities while providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot issues in real time and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and flexible to working extended hours with travel between two locations as business and customer demands require.

  • Coordinate and track shipments, deliveries, and inventory as needed

  • Communicate with the customer, vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate logistics execution

  • Maintain logistics records, schedules, and documentation

  • Identify and escalate delays, discrepancies, or issues proactively

  • Support basic reporting related to logistics and operations
    Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document management

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and route inquiries appropriately

  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and internal communications

  • Assist with office organization

  • Support leadership and team members with day-to-day administrative needs
    Additional Responsibilities and Requirements

  • May periodically assist in training and checking the work of lower-level employees

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Willingness to work extended or non-standard hours as customer needs require.

  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
    Skills and Abilities

  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision. Work can generally be completed without established procedures. Must have demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks under own initiative, Required

  • Basic understanding of shipping, freight, or supply chain processes, Required

  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail, Required

  • Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion., Required

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors), Required

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team., Required

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills., Required

  • Flexibility and Adaptability to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment., Required

  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, Required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have good writing composition skills, Required

  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, Preferred
  • Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in advanced administrative positions, Required
  • Requires strong knowledge or specialized training and a comprehensive understanding of general aspects of the functional area. Must be able to apply knowledge and skills to varied situations Advanced, Required
  • PC skills to include MS Office (Word, Excel) Advanced, Required
  • Prior knowledge of company procedures and policies Advanced, Required

Travel

  • Yes (when needed at Kutztown location)

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
