Job Description

The Technical Product Manager at Rubrik, Inc. will be a key player in ensuring Rubrik’s products and solutions continue to be successful in the market. Your primary responsibility is to review and evaluate competitive solutions to provide precise, accurate, and timely information that is leveraged by our internal sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams. You will use the knowledge gained through your research and hands-on testing to develop compelling messaging, battle cards, presentations, and sales training.

Responsibilities

• Perform Performance testing and articulate deep dive architectural understanding of the product
• Perform new product testing with a focus on delivering accurate, timely, unbiased analysis as a subject matter expert
• Collaborate with the sales enablement team to create sales training, tools (cheat sheets, whitepapers, presentations, etc.),
• Work with field enablement and field success teams to establish take-out approaches as part of standard sales plays.
• Responsible for the data analysis and feedback processes to provide a quarterly view of the collaterals generated and sales engagement.
• Provide day zero support to the field team for emerging product features
• Produce deep dive documentation on product features and solutions
• Work with the engineering, product management and product marketing team to put together collaterals helpful for demand generation

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. Competitive Intelligence, Technical Product Marketing, Technical Product Management, Engineering, or Sales Engineering experience)
• Proficient in automation ( Python, APIs)
• Experience developing technical presentations, whitepapers, product guides, briefs etc.
• Experience with AI tools to polish collaterals
• Good understanding of cloud computing architectures, products, and landscape ( AWS/ GCP/ Azure)
• Strong understanding of the real-world customer issues and the needs of data protection / data management
• Ability to collaborate with various groups and drive projects forward
• Strong aptitude for analyzing competitor's products, strategy, and messaging
• Aptitude for translating technical features into business value as a means of differentiating Rubrik offerings
• Executes with urgency (startup time)
