What You Will Do
- Operate laser drill machine for the repair of engine components
- Perform total productive maintenance (TPM) on laser drill machines
- Perform programming and troubleshooting as required by the engineer
- Crosstrain in support repair processes in laser clad, plasma and/or brazing
- Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards
- Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor
- Perform an assessment of risk of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required
- Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence
- Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities
- Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis
Qualifications You Must Have
- "O" levels or NITEC in Engineering or relevant qualifications
- Min 2 years' relevant experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment
- Candidates with no prior experience but a strong interest in the aerospace industry, including mid-career switchers, are welcome to apply
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools, and machines
- A curious and learning mindset – we provide on-the-job trainings and certifications
- Self-motivated and adaptable to change with a positive attitude
- Willing to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime when required
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office application and SAP
- Prior experience working on laser drill equipment
