Responsibilities

• Perform regular scheduled maintenance
• Respond to production emergencies
• Perform regular machine checks, schedule and perform repairs
• Operate production machines and equipment
• Check operation of support/facilities equipment
• General facilities maintenance (plumbing, electrical wiring)
• Independently handle projects from start to finish (materials, fabrication/installation and implementation)
• MIG/TIG Welding
• Basic machining

Shift Information

This position is for Off Shift: Training on 1st shift for up to a year, then transfer to 2nd, 3rd or 5th shift depending on company needs.

Some travel for education may be required.

• 2nd Shift is eligible for 6% Shift Differential
• 3rd & 5th Shift are eligible for 8% Shift Differential once training is completed

Qualifications

Required

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred

• Knowledge and use of precision measuring devices
• Ability to troubleshoot and read blueprints
• Knowledge of Pneumatic systems
• Ability to fabricate sheet metal, piping, etc.
• Capable of MIG/TIG Welding

Work Environment

We've introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $24.74 to $46.41 an hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
