About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade (GT) Professional with experience in SAP deployments to support the design and implementation of GT compliant processes (to legal requirements and company policy) in SAP, with the Global Trade Services (GTS) module, at three (3) Collins sites in the U.S., Germany and Spain. This role is critical in ensuring compliant flow of material at these three sites and will be supported by two (2) GT Site Leads supporting the three (3) sites.
This role is dedicated to this ~18-month project, working as part of the SAP implementation team while reporting to the Collins Central GT Digital Technology Team for functional guidance.
This role has a strong preference for candidates based onsite in Charlotte, NC; however, remote candidates will also be considered. This role does come with required travel (domestic and international) of 25-50% depending upon the project phase. Because this role supports international initiatives, candidates should be willing to flex their schedule to meet global collaboration needs.
What You Will Do
Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of GT compliance processes, including:
- Classification of items (export, Harmonized Schedule (HS) and Schedule B, including cage code assignment (U.S., Germany and Spain))
- Country of origin determination
- Data and processes required to support tariff determination and tariff mitigation strategies
- Restricted party screening (RPS) and embargo checking of external entities
- Export (and import) authorization determination and use (U.S., Germany and Spain)
- Export information filings (e.g., AES in the U.S.)
- Importer/Exporter of Record, Customs, Brokers, and Freight Forwarder integration
- Trade Documentation (e.g., export and import declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin)
- Identifying (with functional leads) potential Technical Data to ensure it is either eliminated from inclusion in the ERP or, if not possible, appropriately safeguarded
Governance of GT scope of work for these deployments, including:
- Defining GT activities, ownership, schedule (in accordance with the overall SAP deployment project plan)
- Identifying, tracking and reporting key metrics (e.g., active parts requiring classifications)
- Developing and executing a communication plan
Project execution of GT scope of work, including:
- Guiding data migration, integration, testing, and cut-over
- Developing the GT resource plan (e.g., identify roles required to support testing, and use of SAP with GTS, as well as post go-live support)
- Preparing GT work instructions (e.g., define GT processes to ensure compliant tangible transfers, including dispositioning GTS blocks)
- Preparing the GT Training plan
- Liaise with GT Lead for Compliant Tangible Transfers and the GT Lead for SAP S4H to drive alignment
Required Qualifications
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, OR
- An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Direct experience with SAP, including hands-on use of the Global Trade Services (GTS) module
- 5+ years experience with U.S. export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with German and Spanish export regulations and customs/import processes
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience
- Experience in DT systems architecture design, systems and tool management, and daily DT support to the business
- Experience in leadership, program/project management, and change management
- Understanding of end-to-end processes and attention to detailed design
- Demonstrated ability to organize, track, and report complex activities; communicate effectively across all organizational levels and global, cross-functional teams; and work independently in ambiguous environments while managing stakeholder expectations

Work Arrangement
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

Compensation and Additional Information
Salary Range: $132,400 USD - $251,600 USD
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
