What You Will Do
- Lay out, lay up, and fabricate composite parts
- Assemble, disassemble, install, modify, and inspect complex and precision electronic, optical, electro-optical, electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical, and mechanical production assemblies
- Prepare surfaces, apply coating, and perform coating-related processes
- Perform electrical and mechanical in-process checks, analysis, and rework of complex and precision parts and assemblies
- Make wiring, continuity, and component checks utilizing knowledge of electronic theory and circuit analysis
- Prepare, fabricate, bond, and assemble various composite parts
- Utilize various fabrication technologies
- Manufacture and assemble developmental and engineering prototype hardware when necessary
- Set up, adjust, and operate all types of complex assembly machines and equipment, micro equipment as required in assembly, fabrication, test, and inspection of micro-electronic circuit assemblies
- Complete visual acuity and role-specific requirements (i.e., solder)
Qualifications
You Must Have
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)
- Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight
- One (1) year experience including at least one (1) of the following in a manufacturing environment, industrial field, operational field, or trade work:
- Performing work from schematics, drawings, work instructions, planning
- Performing basic solder operations
- Installing, assembling, modifying electronic and/or electromechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment
- Process operations of metal, plastics, and/or composites performing such duties as: decaling, masking, sanding, stenciling, chemical cleaning, bonding, mixing of bonding, and/or paint materials
- Must pass qualifying and/or practical test
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Role Type Definition
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

- This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
