• The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 2nd shift Dimensional Inspector. Days/hours are Monday
• Friday; 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components.

What You Will Do:

• This position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during the inspection process.
• Working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
• Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals and customer requirements.
• Experience in aerospace or related industry.

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines.
