Pratt & Whitney Auto Air is the Raytheon Technologies composite manufacturing center of excellence for aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair Operations (MRO) products, and is a sourced supplier on several new engine programs with noteworthy growth in the coming years.

What You Will Do

  • Cutting, sizing, and measuring state of the art composite materials in accordance with process sheet instructions
  • Disassembly and assembly of aircraft components
  • Manipulating state of the art materials by stretching and heating to secure material to form molds
  • Performing composite and metal fabrication as well as finishing work within extremely tight tolerances to achieve required quality requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical data
  • Must be able to work any shift, including first, second, third, and/or weekends
  • Possess basic computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 months experience in manufacturing environment or completed A&P certification
  • 3 months experience with body work and painting, machine metal and hand tools or with composite materials, including fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar
  • 3 months experience in welding and electronics

Work Environment

This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

As part of the commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of the office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

Additional Information

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
