About the Role

We are looking for a PMO Manager, SEA to be based in our Bangkok, Thailand or Puchong, Malaysia office. Reporting to the Regional Manager, PMO Controls and Compliance, you will take a proactive approach to governing project management. You will implement strategic policies in method selection, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired outcomes. This is an individual contributor role, responsibilities include establishing and ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Control: Leverage on project control processes. Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to established control frameworks. Improve through the change control processes and risk management.

  2. Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits to assess project compliance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with project teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

  3. Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks related to control and compliance. Develop risk mitigation strategies and work with project teams to implement them. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.

  4. Review and Reporting: Encourage accurate and up-to-date project documentation related to control and compliance. Lead regular reviews on project control and compliance status with stakeholders. Identify the mitigation plans/actions with project teams and achieve the results.

  5. Continuously Improvement: Continuously improve project control and compliance processes. Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance the efficiency of project management activities.

  6. Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions for project teams on control and compliance requirements. Promote awareness of control and compliance procedures across the organization.

  7. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of control and compliance goals.

The Essentials

  • You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science related field

  • Minimum 10 years of Project Management Experience managing large-scale projects

  • Good knowledge and handling of project (and Program) management methodology and techniques

  • Proficient in project management tools and software

The Preferred

  • You Might Also Have

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI organization or equivalent

  • Experience in 2 or more countries in SEA

  • Experience in OT industries

Work Arrangement

Rockwell Automation's hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
