We're looking for an Operations Manager to ensure our branch is compliant with local regulations and offers the best services to our customers. You'll help shape how we continue to expand and operate across the globe by contributing to high-impact initiatives throughout the business, using insight to solve challenges, scale processes, and deliver better outcomes for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as a key stakeholder for Revolut in Romania
• Building and optimising scalable processes to continue Revolut's hyper-growth
• Overseeing first line of defence functions of the branch, including governance, interactions with regulators, and oversight of BAU operations
• Providing adequate oversight and accountability for outsourced functions
• Executing scale operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Payments, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, etc.) across global offices
• Monitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and resolutions, liaising with relevant service owners to ensure proper controls are followed
• Identifying and project managing key product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities
• Searching for new features to provide a seamless customer experience
• Managing critical vendor relationships and building performance tracking systems

What you'll need

• At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally banking/financial services or management consulting in the Romania
• Fluency in Romanian
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• The skill to break complex problems into smaller, achievable tasks
• A natural curiosity and willingness to make an impact
