We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Principal IT Systems Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, uptime, availability, and performance of our manufacturing IT server and infrastructure environments, as well as managing compliance solutions. This position is instrumental in ensuring the stability and operational efficiency of our IT infrastructure while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

As a Principal IT Systems Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

• Proactively monitor and maintain Windows Server environments to guarantee efficient performance and reliability.
• Configure and manage virtualized environments, including virtual machines, storage, and networking, to meet evolving business needs.
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring high availability, security, and resilience of network resources.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, improving system reliability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with GMP standards across all relevant processes and systems.
• Implement and manage robust change control processes to uphold system integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure IAM systems and infrastructure align with organizational security policies and frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience with:Sail Point for identity governance and lifecycle management.
• Cyber Ark for privileged access management.
• Ivanti for exposure management.
• Nexthink for visibility and control over employee experience
• Axonious for overall environment visibility.
• High Performance Computing (HPC) for complex problem solving.
• Scripting Proficiency: Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Virtualization technologies and cloud platforms, including virtual machine management and configuration.

In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field and

• Principal IT Systems Engineer: 8+ years of relevant experience with data center technologies (VMware, Net App, Dell EMC storage), backup solutions, and IT and Security operations.
• Staff IT Systems Engineer: 10+ ears of relevant experience with data center technologies (VMware, Net App, Dell EMC storage), backup solutions, and IT and Security operations.
• 3-5 years of experience in system administration, network engineering, or a related role desired. Experience working in GMP environments and ensuring compliance with relevant standards preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, CCNA, Sail Point, Cyber Ark) are a plus.
