About the Role
We are seeking a pro-active and results-oriented Electrical Engineer II to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, ensuring production timelines and quality standards are met. This role involves hands-on support, data analysis, and close collaboration with engineering and production teams to optimize performance and drive operational excellence. This position will sit at our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico location.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues related to EPS electronics products in a timely and effective manner
- Provide hands-on support, improve response times for production issues, and foster close collaboration with on-site teams
- Collaborate with existing resources to support EPS On-Time Delivery (OTD) initiatives, ensuring that production timelines and quality standards are met
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate and communicate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of technical requirements, production challenges, and enhancements
- Analyze data, track production metrics, and contribute to technical decision-making

Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Experience in electronics production support, troubleshooting, or a related role in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
- Experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings, circuit card schematics, and assembly instructions
- Relevant experience in engineering support within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in aerospace or defense industries
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for aerospace and defense products
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience and ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment
