Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts and customer orders.

• Review material availability and coordinate with procurement to resolve shortages.

• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, capacity constraints, or priority changes.

• Analyze demand, inventory levels, and lead times to optimize production planning.

• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to schedules and capacity limits.

• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Master Production Schedule (MPS) processes.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory turns.

• Communicate risks and recovery plans related to supply or production constraints.

• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, etc.).

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency.

• Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 2–5+ years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or manufacturing operations.

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in capacity planning and production planning

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.
