About the Role

Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) Radio Frequency (RF) electronics, electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies.

This will be a 1st shift, onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, and components – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on RF Test and Evaluation hands-on experience
  • Electronics troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures
  • Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations
  • Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes
  • Proficient in reading and fully interpreting Assembly Drawings and Schematics
  • Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes
  • Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years RF Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 10 years or more Electrical Test Technician experience
  • Electrical Test Technical School Degree
  • Radio Frequency RF troubleshooting experience
  • DOD contract experience

Compensation

Salary Range: 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
