What You Will Do
- Assist the quality department as an expediter for various department duties
- Perform the process of returning parts to the customer and scraping parts locally after they are deemed non-repairable by engineering
- Create Purchase Orders for various parts to be sent out to external suppliers for cleaning
- Follow standard work to perform necessary functions within SAP, Solumina, and Excel
- Complete transactions within SAP to close parts out and print out return tags as required
- Communicate all return and outside processing transactions by email with Shipping and Customer Service departments
- Move parts to various departments across the site as needed for inspection
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US)
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Walking, balancing, climbing, standing, twisting/turning, bending/stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling/squatting, sitting, reaching above shoulder height, reaching forward
- Lifting (maximum 25 pounds), carrying, pushing/pulling, handling, feeling, digital dexterity, wrist flexion/extension, power grip, working speed
- Talking, hearing, seeing (with color vision), depth perception
- Must be able to wear/use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
- Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, and to cope with stress, and repetitive tasks and be able to self-inspect and take responsibility for quality of own work
Safety and Testing Requirements
Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
