The Qualcomm Interconnect Technology Center (QITC) develops cutting edge interconnect solutions for complex System-On-Chips such as Snapdragon, providing low power, higher system bandwidth, grater IP flexibility, fewer global wires and easier timing convergence as well as faster time to market than existing bus interconnects. QITC NoC (Network-On-Chip) solutions includes a full suite of automated NoC Design Tools that improve NoC designer productivity.

As a Qualcomm Hardware Verification Engineer, you will oversee the verification of innovative hardware in NoC infrastructure technologies for next generation chipsets.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing new technical specifications and building the verification plan for the corresponding IP
• Implementing verification checkers and running non-regressions
• Implementing coverage and performance metrics
• Reporting work progress on a regular basis and participate to improving KPIs
• Participating in verification methodology & flow enhancements

This is a high-profile position, requiring experience with complex SoC/IP verification, interaction with NoC architecture and design, as well as NoC solutions deployment & support across global Qualcomm locations.

We Are Looking For – Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SoC/IP hardware verification
• Good knowledge of Hardware communication protocols (AXI, AHB ...), Network-On-Chip basics, Data Coherency concepts
• RTL Coding and Verification using High-level tools
• Good C/C++, Python knowledge
• Python automation & scripting languages for improving workflows and team efficiency,
• Strong Hardware language knowledge: Verilog, System Verilog, SystemC
• Excellent problem solving, strong communication and teamwork skills,
• Self-driven, able to work with minimum supervision,
• Supporting Software and other teams with debug

Other Preferred Requirements:

• The successful candidate has an exposure to IP functional and formal verification techniques
• Experience with memory, interconnect or other SoC subsystems design or verification is welcome
• Experience with system level architecture, modeling, analog design, and silicon test is a plus
• References to a particular number of years’ experience are preferred

Preferred Education:

• PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Git, Svn database management tools

Working environment: Linux, MS Office suite (Visio, Excel)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
