General Summary:

We seek a passionate engineer with in-depth knowledge on camera ISP algorithm to join the Camera Systems team.The Camera Systems team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile devices, next-generation mobile photography and video experiences. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, ISP, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection. Responsibilities include the following:

• Research and development of advanced ISP algorithm to achieve best camera image quality.
• Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.
• Prototype and validating solutions on embedded platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy robust and efficient imaging solutions into commercial products.
• Deployment and tuning support of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.
• 50%–70% workload for customer support; 20% onsite availability for business travel across APAC and China.

Qualification5+ years working experiences in the following areas:

• Must be experienced with classical image processing algorithms development.
• Camera and image processing technologies.
• Image signal processor pipeline design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• C, C++, Python, Matlab.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Camera ISP HW algo development.
• Experience with using a mix of traditional image processing techniques and machine learning
• Experience with different types of sensors and algorithms for sensor and optics processing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
