This position is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of Snapdragon compute product and software marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the mobile computing sector, encompassing various operating systems, hardware, and software differentiators. A thorough knowledge of the competitive advantages of Snapdragon X Series platforms relative to other market solutions is essential.
Success in this role requires exceptional communication, technical storytelling, integrated planning, and presentation skills to effectively articulate key messages to diverse internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will be expected to design and leverage strategic marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility and reach of products and programs. Proficiency in developing and implementing product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to distinct customer segments is crucial, as is the ability to monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategies and develop engaging, interactive content.
The successful candidate should have proven experience in creating and executing integrated marketing plans for global product marketing programs and communications, as well as guiding teams through the deployment of software marketing strategies targeted at core audiences, including Qualcomm regional offices, OEMs, and channel partners.
Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager must possess expertise in preparing and delivering impactful product and software demonstrations, presentations, and content, while also driving ecosystem initiatives. Experience in cultivating partner relationships to facilitate collaboration on joint go-to-market and technical marketing programs, including content creation, event planning, and demonstrations, is also required.
Principal Responsibilities:

Leverages advanced knowledge of Product Marketing principles and best practices to manage and drive products, projects, and programs.

Develops strategies, plans product positioning and market entry of Qualcomm product lines.

Evaluates competitive product analysis and formulates plans and objectives for specific product areas.

Creates content and executes marketing plans for Qualcomm products with minimal supervision.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and customers to promote products and technologies.

Interacts with stakeholders, cross-functional team members, peers and business unit regularly to discuss product and go-to market plans.

Acquires advanced knowledge of Product Marketing field and industry and competitive landscape by attending events, gathering customer and industry feedback, as well as expanding personal networks within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to work with a dynamic team environment.
- Effective relationship building and influencing skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work and lead in a highly collaborative team environment, building alignment and - consensus across product management, business development and senior management
- Broad experience in producing high impact business-to-business marketing communications, including conferences/trade shows, channel programs, digital marketing and social media
- Experienced in collaborating across functional teams to execute integrated marketing programs
- Self-starter, must be resourceful, and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment
- 3+ years of work experience requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)
- 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$129,700.00 - $194,500.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
