General Summary:

Job Overview - Dept Description and Job Duties: The BDC BT radio firmware team are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to form an integral part of our BT radio firmware development team in Bangalore. The team will work closely with the BT stack, Radio VI, Systems, Characterization team across Geos. The Team plays a pivotal role in developing complex radio/modem/calibration features

for the company’s Connectivity products. Working within our team provides a unique opportunity to work across engineering disciplines from higher layer software to low-level hardware. Typical tasks for the successful applicant would include: - Design and developingradio/modem features/calibrations for Bluetooth products implemented in C programming language

• Analysis and support bug fixes to meet the customer and internal KPIs
• Communication of status/bugs/issues to leads
• Software and hardware debug of RF and protocol testing issues
• Working with colleagues to optimize solutions
• Working with team leads to plan development, testing and maintenance work

Minimum Qualifications:

• Batchelor’s Degree in Electronics engineering discipline from an internationally recognized institution.
• At least 3-6 years’ experience in developing embedded radio control low level firmware in C programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Electronics engineering discipline from an internationally recognized institution
• Experience and familiarity with Bluetooth Radio and PHY specifications and KPI requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• Proficient in C programming skills and extensive embedded development experience

• Good working knowledge and a keen interest in Radio fundamentals

• Bluetooth or Wi Fi radio/PHY understanding is a plus

• A good level of Signal processing and radio communication knowledge

• A good understanding and interest of electronic hardware and reading schematics

• Knowledge of RF lab equipment’s including Spectrum analyzer, vector signal generator, combiners, Bluetooth testers etc.

• Good understanding of RF metrics

• Python scripting is a bonus

• Self-motivated, adaptable team player

Comfortable with responsibility and with taking responsibility for their deliverables
