As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

1.Drive/contribute in cost reduction, weed out unwarranted expenses/wastages, find alternative sources and improve processes with innovative solutions to raise efficiency.

1. Drive/contribute in quality investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve chronic process and quality issues, and institute permanent resolutions to assure product quality and enhance process robustness.

2. Enforce on line controls and execution to conform to work instructions and procedures. Apply hands-on and with deep involvement at work.

3. Monitor and analyse SPC charts and drive process control improvements.

4. Effective and timely disposition of on hold lots.

5. Regular reviews of OCAP, FMEA and Control Plans.

6. Ensure timely update of procedures and effective implementations.

7. Guide and train technicians in processes and problem solving and analysis to build up their technical competencies and achieve self-sustenance.

8. Take accountability of work and possesses strong sense of responsibility and team work.

9. Ensure non-conformance is dealt with in a proper and effective manner.

10. Establish, review and perform regular update of FMEA, OCAP, Process control, Risk Assessment and SIPOC on all critical processes to ensure a robust process.

11. Compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.

Education/Experience Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physics / Chemistry / Material Science/ Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

2. Knowledge on semiconductor process technology.

3. Possess strong technical competencies in his field of study.

4. Good knowledge of statistical and quality tools.

5. Able to work under pressure and with strong commitment at work.

6. Experience with software applications such as MS Power Point, Excel and Word.
