General Summary:

10+ years of experience in the embedded domain to design, develop and support software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPU. Design and development of software for heterogeneous compute platforms consisting of CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized in MM hardware accelerators in an embedded SoC systems with J-TAG or ICE debuggers; Strong hands-onexperience in one of GFX UMD driver development like Vulkan, OpenGLES, OpenCL or GFX KMD is a must.

• Candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have strong analytic and problem-solving skills & highly organized.

• Should have deep overall system level understanding. Should have hands-on experience in E2E GPU SW product life cycle (From Pre-silicon to SW Commercialization).

• Strong C/C++ programming knowledge & experience in mentoring/leading teams “technically” is a plus.

• Hands on experience in Design & development of one of the 2D and 3D graphics technology and standards such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan is a must.

• Strong hands experience in Linux GFX compositors like Wayland, Buffer management like GBM,Linux Device Trees, Linux device drivers & Overall Yocto build system.

• Strong experience and/or knowledge of the use of the GPU as a compute engine: GPGPU and OpenCL is an asset.

• Knowledge of Graphics frameworks: Kanzi, QT, is a plusFluent in industry standard software tools: SW/HW debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs and build tools.

• Experience with virtualization technologies across CPU and MM hardware accelerators.

• Experience with GPU optimization, advanced rendering, and latency optimizations and ability to identify and isolate performance issues in graphics applications.

• Experience with writing Vertex and Fragment shaders using shading languages such as **GLSL **is a plus.

• Working Knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems is a Must: Linux Android, QNX, embedded Linux.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), working with teams across multiple time zones. Mentoring/Leading cross Geo teams "technically" is a plus.

• A passion for excellence in Leadership and exceeding goals.

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer and/or Electrical Engineering Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer and/or Electrical Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
