General Summary:

This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the development of infrastructure automation software using CI/CD principles, Systems Administration and Development of Automation for Software Configuration Management, Release, Code Control and Code Distribution tools in a highly complex Engineering environment. Technologies: Git/Gerrit, Chef, Ruby, Linux Administration. Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting company business processes and operations. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Develops new approaches to complete work and solve problems with significant impact to project deliverables; gathers input from a variety of stakeholders from other teams, or departments or functions to solve problems. Collaborates openly, respectfully, and inclusively with individuals inside own team and with other teams to understand how components of a project affect each other and complete project work. Shifts focus in response to moderate changes in priorities. Gathers information and asks questions to overcome moderate setbacks and ensure task completion while adhering to Qualcomm standards of integrity and ethical behavior. Proactively gathers information to evaluate time requirements before committing to tasks and deadlines. Communicates delays in a timely manner and offers effective solutions. Act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree field. Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree field and three (3) years of experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Compensation: $67.06 - $68.65/per hour
