We are seeking a passionate camera system architect to join the multimedia arch team in Bangalore, India. The team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile, automotive, IoT, and AR/VR devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, and machine intelligence. As a camera architect engineer, you will play a key role in analyzing and defining the architecture of new Spectra image signal processors (ISPs) inside Snapdragon So Cs for ADAS, XR, premium mobile markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform architecture analysis to compare architecture options and align teams to a recommendation

• Work with engineering teams to define data and control flows, design/verify the hardware implementation

• Explore ISP architecture options including hardware, firmware, software and the programming/control models of Spectra ISPs

Preferred Qualifications

Academic/industry experiences in the following areas:

• Image/video signal processing

• Image sensor technology

• Computer architecture, Memory sub-systems, interconnects, vlsi design

• SoC

• System architecture and/or hardware micro-architecture and/or embedded software/firmware

• Power, performance, area analysis

• Experience with modern camera technologies and camera ISP pipeline.

• Good communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8 to 16 years of experience in architecture/micro-architecture.
